Between You And Me on zee one Thursday 8th June 2023 update, Pushpa asks Mishri to accept Devina’s gift. Akhilesh says Mishri cannot take gift from anyone without her mother’s acceptance. Ira tells Mirchi to accept the gift and say thank you. Akhilesh holds Mirchi’s hands and accepts the gift. She says thank you to Devina. Akhilesh says I am sure it has Mishri’s favourite stuff. Pushpa nods. Everyone gives gifts to Mirchi. Adi recalls how Mirchi had lifted him in air the other night and stops in his tracks for a moment. He too gives her a gift finally. Pushpa has ordered Mishri’s favourite cake but Ira points out that Mishri likes Rava cake. Shall we cut that today? I made it for her. Pushpa nods. Ira goes to bring it. Devina again tries to fuel Pushpa’s mind against Ira but Pushpa tells her to be quiet. Don’t try to create differences between Ira and me.

Mishri likes Rava cake so we will cut that only. Devina gives up.
Ira brings Rava cake. Akhilesh lights candles. Mirchis is asked to blow the candles. Akhilesh worries that she might use her full strength while doing so. He imagines the cake flying in Adi’s eyes. Akhilesh holds the cake. He whispers at Mirchi to do it nicely. She nods. He blows it instead while no one is looking. Vansh asks Mirchi to ask for a wish. Mirchi says I pray that Mishri gets well asap. Pushpa asks her what has happened to Mishri. Akhilesh says they are asking what you want. You are fine already. She got so much already. She does not want anything. Ira tries to feed Mirchi but Akhilesh offers to do it instead. Ira finds his behaviour weird. He dint even let me feed cake to Mishri. Akhilesh mentally apologizes to Ira. This could have caught short circuit inside Mirchi. He tells Mirchi to pretend to be chewing. She does the same and even compliments it. Akhilesh sends everyone outside. He asks Vansh to sleep in Devina’s room tonight as the bed is covered with gifts. He readily agrees.

Mirchi tells Akhilesh it is Mishri’s birthday today. You should wish her. These gifts should be given to her instead. He nods. All these gifts are for Mishri. He picks up the cake. It got over before it could reach Mishri. It is my daughter’s first birthday before me and I am not even with her! Mirchi offers to help him bake a cake for Mishri. The recipe is inside me. He asks her to come along.

Mirchi and Akhilesh are in the kitchen. She shows him the recipe on a huge screen. He looks at her in amazement. Technology! He collects all the ingredients and follows the process.

Upstairs, Ira wonders where Akhilesh is. He was putting Mishri to sleep. Why hasn’t he come yet? He thinks he cannot switch on microwave. It will wake up everyone. Do you know how to switch it off? Mirchi denies. You can bake it on my head. I have that much power! He is again surprised. Seriously? She nods. He keeps the cake on her head. She switches on the microwave mode.

Ira hears some sound coming from the kitchen and gets curious.

Mirchi revolves just like the tray revolves inside a microwave. Ira is headed towards the kitchen. Akhilesh gets tensed seeing Ira there. She asks Akhilesh what’s going on. He replies that he was making cake. Everyone ate the cake you made. She asks him if she made this one alone. He nods. I can make better cake than you. I have to do this to keep international clients happy. I got scared seeing you suddenly here. Give me good luck kiss before I go. She gets shy and pushes him away. Come home soon. She leaves. Mirchi comes out of her hiding place. Akhilesh says we got saved by a thread. The fragrance is awesome. His hands are full so Mirchi opens the door for him. A guy steps inside just then. He introduces himself as Shamsher. Mirchi recognizes him to be the guy of those 5 kids. Shamsher vows to beat Akhilesh. He hits at Akhilesh’s hands. The cake flies in air. He sends Mirchi to hold it. she accepts the command and the cake lands safely on her head.

Akhilesh tries to talk to Shamsher but he starts hitting Akhilesh. Akhilesh tells him to speak slowly. I don’t want anyone to wake up. Mirchi makes the house soundproof. Shamsher catches hold of Akhilesh’s collar and hits him. Akhilesh falls on the floor. She is a kid. She will be naughty. Shamsher stays put. You dint teach your daughter anything. Mirchi recalls how Pushpa wanted God to protect their family always and she had accepted that as a command. I must protect the family. Shamsher keeps hitting Akhilesh. Mirchi asks Shamsher to leave her Bapu. Shamsher tells her not to come between them or he wont spare her. Shamsher pushes her away as she tries to intervene again. She is a little hurt but the command keeps playing in her mind. She speaks of Satte Pe Satta movie’s dialogue. Akhilesh says the dialogue upon Mirchi’s askance. She says the dialogue and walks towards Shamsher with her fists closed on her sides. She holds Shamsher’s hand. Akhilesh realises that her hands have started working again. Mirchi pushes Shamsher, says Jai Bajrang Bali and hits him. He swirls and falls near the door. Akhilesh tells him to leave if he wishes to save his life. Shamsher asks him how his daughter is capable of doing this. What do you feed her? Mirchi says I do it easily. Shamsher flees from there. Mirchi is glad that she succeeded in her mission. I saved Bapu!

Akhilesh asks Mirchi how her hands become fine again. She shares that the push jolted the nuts back in place. He blames it on her but she reasons that she had to follow her command to protect the family. Those kids were hitting Vansh. He gives her a command to inform him if anyone hits Vansh again. Don’t get into anything yourself. She accepts it. He thanks her for saving the cake. Mirchi tells him to wish Mishri Happy Birthday from her side. He nods. Keep yourself on charging mode in your room. Make sure no one watches you. Keep yourself like that till morning. She nods. Akhilesh leaves for hospital.

Akhilesh wishes Happy Birthday to Mishri. I came here to celebrate your birthday. Wont you thank me sweetly? I am dying to hear your voice!

Adi comes to Mishri’s room. Where is Mishri? Why is the room so dark? Mirchi emits light from her eyes shocking Adi.

Akhilesh cries holding Mishri’s hand. I wont cry today. He lights 6 candles on her cakes and blows them himself. We will cut Mishri’s birthday cake today. He sings it himself as he cuts a piece. He keeps the piece in her hand and feeds it to himself. He pats her head lovingly. Happy Birthday Mishri. I made your favourite cake with my own hands with Mirchi’s help. I hope you dint feel bad that I took Mirchi home in your palce? There is no need to be insecure about her. No one can take your place.

Mirchi steps inside the cupboard and repeats Akhilesh’s command. She puts herself on charging mode.

Akhilesh tells Mishri that Mirchi cannot take her place ever. She is a machine whereas we share a blood relation. No one can take its place. He holds her hand emotionally. Naina song

plays as he thinks of all the happy moments that he has spent with Mishri till date. Please come home asap. He rests his head while still holding her hand.
Mirchi is on charging. She is overcharged. Mirchi says Bapu told me to charge myself till morning. Half an hour is still left. It is just 5:30 am.

Adi decides to check on Mishri and peeks inside her room. The bed is empty. He feels she must be doing something which ghosts do. He is fearful recalling how he got beaten last time. He gathers courage to check on her once and goes inside. He cannot see her anywhere. Mirchi is overcharged and it is 6 am. She unplugs the charger. Adi wonders why the room is so dark. I cannot see a thing! Mirchi emits light from her eyes shocking Adi. This is what you wanted right? He is stunned to see her thus and gasps in shock. How can you do this? She speaks of the technology fitted in her eyes. He is confused. You are lying right? You are indeed a ghost! I dint even touch alcohol today. I will show your truth to everyone today. He holds her hand but shouts in shock / pain. She is super heated. He shouts that their house is haunted. Hearing his screams, everyone comes in. They ask him as to what’s wrong with him. Adi replies that there is a spirit inside Mishri. I got shocked again when I touched Mishri. Devina tells him to shut up. Pushpa also tells him to be quiet. Adi asks them to touch Mishri themselves. Ira touches Mirchi’s forehead and it is indeed extremely hot. She runs to bring her kit. Pushpa also gets concerned. She makes Mirchi lie down in the bed.

Ira calls Akhilesh. Mishri has high fever. Akhilesh understands that MIrchi might be overcharged. Ira asks him about her doctor’s kit. Akhilesh has hidden it intentionally. He tells her not to stress. Doc said Mishri will have fever for a while. She will be fine. Ira does not fall for it. I will put wet wipes on her forehead. She disconnects the call before Akhilesh can say anything. It will cause short circuit! His phone’s battery dies. He takes leave from Mishri and runs off.

Mirchi starts shivering because of the wet wipes kept by Ira. Pushpa tells Ira not to worry. You are doing the right thing. It will soothe Mishri. I will rub oil in her feet. Mirchi shakes due to shock and closes her eyes. Ira asks Adi to bring another blanket. Akhilesh enters just then. He is shocked at the sight. Adi gives them another blanket. Akhilesh reads the manual kept in the bathroom and reads the section titled critical overheating. He goes back inside after reading it. He sits next to Mirchi. It is because of cold. Even I was shaking like this a few days ago! There is nothing to worry about. Ira tells him these are convulsions. This isn’t ordinary fever. Are you a doc? Akhilesh tells her not to worry but Ira takes Mirchi to doc. Akhilesh tells everyone not to worry and goes after Ira and Mirchi. Adi takes his mother aside to talk to her. Vansh prays for Mishri’s well being. I wont eat ice cream for 2 days.

Devina checks Adi’s breathe after hearing his words. There isn’t even a drop of alcohol in your body! Adi nods. He repeats what he had told her and shows her his palm. You must agree that this Mishri has some supernatural powers. She agrees to keep an eye on Mishri now. If it is true then I will expose her before everyone!

Akhilesh again calls it an ordinary fever but Ira insists it isn’t normal. Doc offers to check Mishri himself. He checks Mirchi. She has fever. He puts the thermometer to check her temperature but it bursts in front of their eyes. Ira wonders how it can happen. Even doc is amazed at the sight but Akhilesh says it might be defective. Doc suggests getting Mirchi’s MRI. Such temperature comes when the fever gets inside someone’s head. Ira readily agrees. Akhilesh is worried that Mirchi’s truth will be out in front of Ira if this brain scan happens.

Ira goes to meet some specific doc. Doc decides to check who is on duty. Meanwhile, Akhilesh asks Mirchi to pretend to vomit. She accepts his command. Ira is now sure it is brain fever. Akhilesh tells her against it. Make preps for the brain scan. I will take care of Mishri here. She goes. Akhilesh takes Mirchi inside and is fixing her when he notices Ira coming there. She gets a call just then and attends it. Akhilesh fixes Mirchi. Doc tells them that the MRI machine is ready. Akhilesh tells them it isn’t needed. Mishri is perfectly fine. Ira checks her head and she is back to normal. Akhilesh mentally apologizes to Ira for hiding Mishri’s truth from her. Ira is certain Akhilesh is hiding something from her regarding Mishri. Something is not right.

Doc is clueless but Akhilesh repeats that it wasn’t brain fever. There was nothing! Ira hopes it isn’t a disorder. Doc wonders if it is Ebola virus. Mirchi says the symptoms of Ebola virus. I never went to a jungle so I cannot catch it. Akhilesh laughs that Mishri is showing off her knowledge. She wants to become a doc like her mother after all. She is very naughty. She can even dance. Mirchi dances on Panchi Banu song. Ira tells her not to exert herself but Mirchi keeps dancing. Akhilesh has to stop her. Mishri is completely fine. Ira is confused and worried seeing her strange behaviour. Mirchi assures her she is fine. Nurse tells Ira that someone has refused to take injection from her. The patient wants Ira to do it. Akhilesh sends Ira to attend to the patient. Doc asks Akhilesh about Mirchi’s

MRI but Akhilesh tells him it isn’t required. If anyone asks you then say that
Akhilesh questions Mirchi as to why she was dancing. Mirchi again mistakes the command and starts dancing. He tells her to stop but she hears it as jump. She misreads all the commands and goes to wish Mishri Happy Birthday. She runs to Mishri’s ward and keeps wishing her Happy Birthday. Akhilesh tells her it is his daughter. Come here. Why isn’t she following my commands? Mirchi starts jumping in the room shocking Akhilesh. Akhilesh wonders why she isn’t following any of his commands. He tells her not to do this in ICU but she does not hear him. He holds her hand to stop her. Stand here quietly. She pushes his hand away and steps over Mishri’s oxygen mask pipe by mistake. She starts banging her head on the wall next. Akhilesh cannot understand anything. Mishri starts breathing heavily as the mask shifts. His attention is diverted to Mishri when the machine starts beeping loudly. Akhilesh scolds Mirchi for not listening to him. My daughter could have lost her life today! Stand straight. He puts her on sleep mode. I was mad to take your help. I will throw you far away from here! Akhilesh dumps Mirchi at a dustbin at a secluded place. She stands there with her eyes closed. You aren’t my daughter but a machine. A machine cannot replace my daughter. There are enough problems in my life and you are just aggravating them! My daughter’s life was in risk because of you today! Don’t come near my daughter or my family even by mistake! He drives away leaving her alone.

Dr. Lokesh checks Mishri. Akhilesh asks him if she is fine. Doc says she is fine. Mishri’s condition isn’t such where you can keep her off oxygen even for seconds. Don’t do it again. Akhilesh apologizes and agrees to take care of it. Doc leaves. Akhilesh apologizes to Mishri too. It happened because of Mirchi. She wont come here now as I put her on sleep mode.

Mirchi’s pony gets stuck in the dustbin. The cover falls down and she is woken up. She says the temperature and then frees her pony from the dustbin. She says Bapu. Where am I? She keeps saying Bapu as she starts walking.

Akhilesh returns to hospital. Ira asks him about Mishri. He lies that she is fine. Ira again asks him where she is.

Akhilesh replies that he sent her to school. She asks him what has happened to him. She was unwell. He repeats that she only said Mishri shouldn’t miss school. I followed your words. Ira apologizes to him for getting hyper. He tells her not to worry about Mishri.
