Former Tottenham Hotspur player Alan Hutton has claimed that Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech could leave Stamford Bridge this summer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Ziyech has been speculated to depart Chelsea since the beginning of the year.
Despite being linked with a loan switch to PSG in January, the Moroccan international failed to seal the temporary move because of certain documentation issues on the winter deadline day.
Speaking about Ziyech’s future amid the PSG link, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think he will be happy knowing that they’re still there. Chelsea right now are in a situation where they’ve spent an awful lot of money, they’ve got a bloated squad, and soon they’ll have to get the numbers down for whoever the next manager will be.”
“Yes, he will be happy that they’re still there and he’s one of the players that you would try and ship out. It’s just a really difficult moment in time for the Blues, especially with the money that they’ve spent. There’s a lot of pressure there, but he’s probably one of a number of players who will look to leave in the summer.”
