Peace Standard Pharmaceutical industries is a limited liability company duly registered with the Pharmacists’ Council of Nigeria (PCN) presently with category A line registration, that is, two product lines and above. The company is solely owned and founded by Dr. & Mrs Samuel Akinlaja and was incorporated in 2002 and started operation at its temporary site on 1st October, 2003 at no 239, Lagos road, opposite Ilorin International Airport, Ilorin with four products which are all liquid preparations and with about 20 staffs.
In the year 2008, the company moved to its ultra-modern factory permanent site which is located at Plot 3 and 5, Adewole Industrial estate, lubcon avenue, Ilorin on about fifty four (54) plots of land in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State with modern facilities installed to ensure that quality and reliable pharmaceutical products are being manufactured. There are separate factories designed for liquid and tablet production and the company has taken its time to keep improving on its infrastructures, equipment and products every now and then.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic Engineer to join our team. The primary role of the Mechanic Engineer will be to maintain and improve the performance of our fully automated production line that produces bottled drinks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production line, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing continuous improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the automated production line, including the filling, capping, labeling, and packaging machines.
Conduct regular inspections of the production line to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the production line.
Continuously research and evaluate new equipment and technologies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices in the maintenance and repair of the production line equipment.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production goals and initiatives.
Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to optimize production schedules and minimize waste.
Utilize analytical tools to identify and improve upon areas of inefficiency within the production line.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on the production line.
Train production line operators on basic maintenance and repair techniques to increase equipment uptime.
Requirements
Candidates should possess relevant qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience on automated production line.
