Brain Joseph Vilim was born on 2nd July 1979 in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. He has an elder brother named Erick Vilim, a Senior Operations Specialist at Frontier Communications married to Denis Vilim since 9th January 2001. His brother Eric went to Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas. 
Brian is also related to Nancy Vilim Horner, his aunty, Matthew Cajda, and Megan Cajda, his cousins.
In 1997, Brian graduated from Newman Smith High School, a Public school in Carrollton, Texas. He later moved to the Art Institute of Dallas, Texas, where he graduated with an Associate of Applied Science degree in December 1999. He specialized in Film/video production.

Two years after an associate degree in texas, Brina got a job as a director of photography at AMS pictures in 2001. For six years, his job was primarily about producing digital content for his company which had clients such as EDS, Frito Lay, Texas instrument, and Albertson’s Grocery. He left AMS pictures in July 2007 and relocated to Los Angeles to set himself as a brand as a freelancer.
