Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Nigeria

Job Objective / Purpose of the Job

We are seeking the services of an experienced Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for managing all costs relating to the company’s projects. This will include preparing estimates, managing budgets, and overseeing subcontractors and suppliers.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
Monitor and manage project costs and budgets
Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to management
Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate project risks
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure the most efficient use ofresources
Manage the procurement of materials and equipment
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
At minimum 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
Proficient in cost estimating and budget management software
Self-driven and proactive nature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate leadership qualities.
High computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
Experience in document creation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy task.
