Yet, it is public information that he grew up in the Western part of the United States and holds American citizenship by birth. His family members are Christians, as he currently is.

The lovers have known each other since they were young kids. David’s father and Alison’s mother were instrumentalists, who played the violin for feature film soundtracks. Regardless of their parents’ closeness, neither David nor Alison had any feelings then.
Later, Alison admitted in an interview that she had had a crush on David since her teenage years, and once pleaded with her mom to help in getting David’s attention. However, they could not further whatever feelings they had for each other as they split paths to pursue their different careers.
