We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Worker I

Ref: STS2022-022Location: Ibadan, OyoRecruitment Type: STS- National (6-months renewable contract)

Duties

Assist in carrying out the establishment of screen house and field trials.
Assist in the collection of research data, entry, and keeping the field book for data
collection.
Assist in laboratory activities and writing of reports.
Assist in culturing of plant organisms.
Assist in handling microscope and identification of organisms.
Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

Qualifications

O’level with a minimum of two (2) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:The ideal candidate must:

Have good communication skills (writing, reading, and speaking).
Ability to use basic Microsoft software (word, excel, PowerPoint).
Have good driving skills.
Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
