We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Stores Officer

Location: Urhonigbe, EdoEmployment Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities

Be responsible for inventory management and stock monitoring.
Organise regular/periodic stock count exercises and ensure discrepancies are resolved on a timely basis.
Ensure the store is optimally utilized by constantly reviewing layout, space utilization, and material flow to identify improvement areas.
Pursue FIFO (First In, First Out) stock administration technique to accomplish no expiry or write-off.
Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the store; file records as required
Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
Ensure daily records of store transactions are uploaded onto the system on a regular basis.
Implement approved HSE policies and procedures for store safety.

Qualifications / Experience

BA / B.Sc / HND in any Social Science or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Stores Officer
Computer literacy is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word-processing applications
Age: 30 – 40
