We can’t deny the fact that zee world is one of the biggest names when it comes to Bollywood entertainment in Africa, the channel can boost series such as Mehek, Jodha Akbar, Twist Of Fate, and many others. But what about the list of series that vanished from the channel for years now with no news of coming back?

In this article, we are going to talk about 2 zee world series that vanished from zee world without completion.

1. Young Dreams

Gunjan is forced to stay with her aunt and her family in Benaras. She feels suffocated in the traditional setup but befriends her cousin Rachana and falls in love with Mayank. The series first premiered in October 2016 on zee world and went off the air after airing 109 international episodes.

On the 1st of October 2021, the series made a comeback for a re-run and once again went off after airing the same number of episodes as the previous season.

Originally Young Dreams ( Sapne Suhane) has 707 episodes which are 24 mins per episode. Zee world combines 2 episodes for a day and that will give international episodes around 350 but up to date, the channel has only given its viewers 109 episodes out of 350.

A channel in Ghana, Adom TV acquired the rights to air the same series in 2019 and was able to show all episodes. So my question is if a private channel can air all episodes why not the source?

2. Begusarai

Poonam, an ambitious woman, gets embroiled with the Thakur family, who rule Begusarai through bloodshed. Her ambitions and dreams are crushed due to the violence which ensues but she pulls through.

Begusarai suffered the same fate as young dreams. The series first premiered on zee world in July 2018 and after completing 97 out of 173 international episodes the series went off the air. In April 2021 the series returned for a re-run occupying a weekend slot. Once again the series went off the air in September and no news of its return.

Currently, Begusarai airs on Zee world’s sister channel Zee One and any hopes of completing are unknown.

Both series are completed series from zee entertainment enterprise, therefore it’s somehow questionable as to why these series couldn’t be completed by zee world. Has it become a culture for a completed series to vanish from zee world and never return? Well, that’s another question for the gods.
