MESSAGE:
For a couple of days now, we have been talking about friendship. This is because friendship is serious business and should be taken as such. After discovering yourself and the kind of friend that would suit you, there are some things you should also do: You must be friendly.
In other words, you must be courteous, kind and likable. Don’t go about with a rude countenance or unfriendly face and expect people to like you. Someone once said the cheapest perfume to wear on a face is a smile. Always wear a smile. After all, studies have shown that it takes fewer muscles to smile than frown. Also, when you smile, you look younger.
You also need to know that there are some attitudes that destroy friendship. They are: greed, malice, anger, envy, backstabbing or backbiting, not taking to good advice, being overbearing (always wanting things done your way) et cetera. Never put up any of those. Instead, do what you expect of your friends.
KEY POINT:
Do unto others what you want them to do to you.
HYMN: Let Others See Jesus In You
CHORUS
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you;
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true,
Let others see Jesus in you.
