The Empire could be a real dark horse this year. Our setting is the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, where Han Hye Ryul is the chief of the special division. She comes from a family of judicial workers who have had wealth and power for three generations.
However, Hye Ryul is ambitious and not satisfied with her current position, aiming to become a prosecutor general. The thing is, her mother and father are using the law as tools to make more money and protect their status, setting up a conflict of interest.
