Hernan brings Mario to the hospital. He also called Luisa and Mayumi to tell them what happened. They went to the hospital hoping that Mario would pull through but he succumbed to a heart attack and died.

Hernan told Luisa that their company would cater for the expenses of Mario’s wake and Funeral. Hernan was upset when he got home because Brenda went to his workplace to get Mario fired. He told her that Mario died and blamed her for his death because the news of losing his job must have stressed him out.

Brenda however said that she did what she could to protect her family.

Mayumi got her birthday present, the ones that Mario bought for her but the book she wanted was not there. When she fell asleep, she had a dream about her father and he told her that he left a gift for her in the book. She told Luisa about it when she woke up and insisted on getting the book.
During Mario’s wake, Luisa found out from the people at the company that Brenda got Mario fired and that was probably why he had a heart attack.

Hernan found the book that Mario bought for Mayumi in the van. He was headed to the wake to give it to Luisa and Brenda asked to go along with him. Luisa attacked Brenda when she saw her because she blamed her for Mario’s death. Brenda defended herself by saying that she tried to protect her husband because Mario could cause an accident in his condition. Luisa said that Mario was in good condition since he was taking his medication. She was mad at Brenda so she kicked her out and Hernan did not get a chance to give back Mayumi’s book.

Isabelle saw the book at home and asked to keep it but Hernan refused to give it to her since Mario bought it for Mayumi. Isabelle got mad and gave back the book. The lottery ticket fell out and Hernan went to check the numbers from the newspaper. He found out Mario won the 120 million jackpot but was conflicted on whether to give it back. He ultimately decided to give the ticket to Luisa but he could not find her because she moved and changed her number.

Brenda found out that Hernan was looking for Luisa and got mad at him. When she learned about the lottery ticket, she told Hernan not to give it to Luisa. She insisted that they needed the money more and snatched the ticket away and Hernan chased after her to take it back. The ticket flew away when they were fighting over it and Luisa picked it up.
Luisa brought Mayumi to Hernan’s house to ask about the book that Mario bought. She gave Brenda back the ticket without looking at it. Brenda demanded to know why she was there and accused her of trying to seduce her husband. Luisa hence decided to leave without telling them why they went there and Hernan did not stop her.

Brenda took it to mean that Hernan finally decided to keep the money from the jackpot because he did not say anything to Luisa. She said it was a good decision since Hernan would be able to support their family and start a business with the money. Hernan agreed to claim the money and Brenda went to get ready so they could go shopping after getting the money.
