Gunmen abduct Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu in church

The Police have confirmed the arrest of former gubernatorial candidate of the Action Congress in Imo State, Uche Nwosu.

Initial reports had it that unknown gunmen abducted Rochas Okorocha’s son in law, Uche Nwosu.

Nwosu was reportedly whisked away by gunmen in military uniform at St. Peter’s Angelican Church Eziam Obire, in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

The incident happened during the outing service of his late mother.

Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen In uniform stormed the church with a military van firing live bullets in the air.

His security details were said to have watched helplessly while the incident lasted.

In a statement, Imo Police Command Public Relations Officer, Michael Abattam, confirmed that Nwosu was in their custody.

DAILY POST gathered that the one time Chief of Staff to Okorocha was arrested in connection with a case being probed.
