Former Liverpool star, Mark Lawrenson has predicted today’s Premier League clash between Manchester United and Burnley.
Man United will tonight host Burnley at Old Trafford in a Premier League tie.
The Red Devils currently sit in the 7th position on the log with 28 points from 17 games.
Ralf Rangnick’s side head to the game after a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in their last fixture.
But Lawrenson believes Burnley have stopped scoring, while Man United conceive goals too easily.
He, however, backed United to beat Burnley 3-0 at home.
“Burnley’s biggest problem is that they’ve stopped scoring – they have managed only one goal in their past three games and have managed only 14 in total so far this season,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“Manchester United’s issue under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was that they conceded too easily, but it appears Ralf Rangnick has put that right, and I don’t see the Clarets giving them many scares. Man United 3, Burnley 0.”
The kick-off time for Man United vs Burnley is 9.15 pm.
