Three top players Liverpool looking forward to signing this January transfer window have been revealed.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, the two mainstays in Liverpool XI are set to depart Anfield for the African Cup of Nations and this could further deepen the club’s form and send them out of the title race.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell to a 1-0 defeat away at Leicester on Tuesday night, and that was with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the team.
The winter transfer window affords Klopp the opportunity to bolster his team and names such as Raphinha, Renato Sánches and Jarod Bowen have been tipped to join the Merseyside club.
Raphinha has been Leeds United’s standout player this season, despite the evident struggles of Marcelo Bielsa’s side. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 16 Premier League games.
Liverpool is top in the list of clubs seeking his signature, others being Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Liverpool is also interested in signing Renato Sanches from Lille. The Portuguese forward has been in outstanding form for the French side since his unsuccessful move to Bayern as a highly-rated teenager.
Sanches is thriving at Lille and has helped fire them to the Ligue 1 title last season.
Sanches has suggested that he is now ready for a step up to ‘big club’, with Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan and Barcelona all interested in him.
Another player linked with a switch to Liverpool from West Ham is Jarrod Bowen, as Red boss, Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of the winger.
