Chelsea defender, Andreas Christensen, has decided to leave the club for Barcelona.
The Denmark international has ‘no intention’ of signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge according to Spanish outlet Sport.
Christensen’s contract at Chelsea expired at the end of the season and the Blues are keen on keeping at the club, however the defender has decided to move on.
Sport reports that he has decided to reject Chelsea’s offer and is now close to joining Barcelona.
The Dane and his representatives have been in contact with the Spanish giants for weeks and Barca are now in ‘pole position’ to sign him.
Another Blues defender Antonio Rudiger had also turned down a contract extension at Stamford Bridge and is all but set to join Real Madrid.
Chelsea captain, Cesar Azpilicueta is also being chased by Barcelona as he is yet to agree a new deal with Thomas Tuchel’s side.
