MESSAGE:
Jehovah Nissi is a Hebrew name that refers to God as Banner. When Moses built an altar and named it Jehovah-Nissi (which means âthe LORD is my bannerâ), it was in reference to how God had been a pillar unto the children of Israel throughout their wilderness experience, starting from their salvation in Exodus 14:1-31.
When the children of Israel were faced with the Red Sea, Moses held up his hands and told the people to stand still in order to see the salvation of the Lord. Psalms 91:1 says:
âHe that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.â
Are you in a desperate situation in your life? Are you struggling and canât seem to break free from what is holding you back? Run under the Banner today through prayers. Call on Jehovah Nissi now so that He can come through for you like He did for the children of Israel.
KEY POINT:
When God is your banner, you have nothing to fear.
