We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing and Communications Business Partner

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use a wide range of methods to communicate, including language and style that capture the attention of a target audience.
  • Adapts content, style, tone and medium of communication to suit the external target audience’s language, cultural background, and level of understanding.
  • Assist in developing and implementing any new internal communications tools or systems required by the organisation
  • Monitor feedback for all internal communication and assist in providing clarification where necessary
  • Participate in the implementation of organisation-wide strategic communications plan.
  • Support the development of company profile and brand image in the market through sustained campaigns.
  • Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with third parties such as regulatory bodies, business partners (e.g. retail chains), etc.
  • Monitor and update CSR activities database and reports on CSR activities of the organisation and individual business units
  • Present and communicate information effectively to external stakeholder groups clearly and concisely.
  • Communicate difficult ideas and complex messages to clients in a way that aids understanding
  • Participate in the articulation of the company’s overall corporate strategies and objectives.
  • Work hard to support the articulation of the company’s marketing strategies and plan and ensure alignment with the corporate strategy, goals, and objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and record of all internal and external communication.

  • Brand perception relative to competitors
  • Average revenue per customer.
  • Achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Percentage increase in market share and revenue growth
  • Quality of reports/documents
  • Timeliness of reports/documents
  • Percentage increase in customer base across segments.
  • Percentage of sales target met.
  • Percentage increase in customer base across segments.

Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Mass Communication, Journalism, Management sciences or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Public Relations, Brand Strategist or Corporate Communications role in a large corporation

Skills and Competencies:

  • Understands the strategic objectives of the different product brands.
  • Explain how to create a seamless online presence over web, social, mobile, and other digital platforms
  • Understands the benefits and limitations of different digital marketing channels.
  • Understanding of and experience with all things advertising; digital and traditional
  • Digital savvy and ability to drive and interpret data analytics
  • Understanding of the digital world and the disruptive opportunities being created
  • Ability to think strategically, and drive for results.
  • Able to select relevant content and write basic marketing copy in various formats including text, links, video, visual and more
  • Ability to organize information and findings and share them within organization
  • Excellent communication and business presentation skills
