Jia and Richie had no other choice but to settle with their clients or they would have to go to prison. They sold all their assets and paid off their clients.

Adam’s board members pushed for him to drop the partnership with RJ&E. Adam refused to listen to them and maintained that he had the final say since he was the majority shareholder. Lucy and Dana were furious about it.

David and Dana went to court for their annulment hearing. David said that Dana was not stable and pointed out that she had even destroyed his business. Meanwhile, Dana said that she only acted out because David was cheating on her with Jia. She said that she still loved him and wanted to rebuild their family.

Althoudh Adam refused to drop RJ&E, Jia decided to cancel her parnership. She sent the cancellation notice to Adam, which Dana and Lucy were happy about. Adam however refused to accept it.

The judge handed her decision regarding David and Dana’s annulment. Their marriage was declared null and void. Dana was furious but David was happy with the news. Dana called David to tell him that she would make him, Jia and Michael pay for it. Helen told David that they had to get Michael from Dana because she might hurt him.
Dana had been mistreating Michael but Lucy advised her not to do it because Adam adored him. She also needed Michael to like her so that he would not go with Jia.
