Five years later, Dana and David were having problems with their marriage. Dana was too busy at work so she never had time for their son. David therefore wanted to get an annulment. Dana accused him of having an affair with someone else.

As Dana was looking for new interior designers for Empire Builders, she found out about a popular company in Cebu. She went there and found out that Jia worked there. Jia had refused to see her so Dana went to her house. As she was waiting for Dana she found a baby’s room.

When Jia arrived, she asked about the child since they had not seen each other for five years. Jia said he was gone and Richie claimed to be the father. Dana asked Jia if David had been unfaithful while she was in a coma but Jia could not tell her anything. After Dana left, Jia decided to move the company to Singapore so that Dana would not find her.

Dana suspected that Jia was hiding something because she acted weird when they met. She told her friends that Jia might have been the person having an affair with David but they both told her that it was not likely to be the case.

Three years later, Dragon Empire Builders were having problems. They constantly lost clients and had to fire some employees to cut down expenses. They were therefore looking for a new partnership to help them get the company back on track. Dana found out about a popular interior design company from Singapore called R J & E and wanted to partner with them but they constantly refused to give her an appointment. She therefore decided to go to Singapore herself with Lucy.

When Lucy and Dana arrived in Singapore, they gave their proposal to an RJ & E representative. He said that their CEO would review their proposal and get back to them. Lucy and Dana refused to leave without talking to the owner so they barged into the office.

They were shocked to see Jia there and Lucy suggested that she return to work for them. Richie however told them that Jia was their CEO. Lucy and Dana had nothing to say so Jia thanked them for coming and left.
